Young Singers of the Palm Beaches invites you to come celebrate the holiday  season with them at "Winter Tapestry 2024: Sing for Peace." This year’s event features over 350 young singers from Palm Beach County, accompanied by a professional orchestra that includes strings, winds, percussion, and keyboards.

Extra special entertainment intermingled into the production will include dancers and a performance from children from Faith’s Place Center for Arts Education.

Kick off your holiday season with this fun, festive night out at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on December 14th at 7:30 p.m. The Young Singers’ concert will fill your evening with songs that embody peace, joy, and the spirit of the holidays.

Special pieces like "Sing for Peace" by Papoulis/Nunez and "Hope for Resolution" by  Caldwell and Ivory will bring everyone together in celebration. Holiday songs for Christmas, Hanukkah, as well as creating a winter wonderland to cool off the South  Florida season – there will be something for everyone! And don’t miss out on the holiday sing-along—where you can lend your voice to the chorus and be a part of the magic! Sing For Peace is more than music; it’s a community celebration where everyone can join in.

Audition to Join the Young Singers:
If your child or teen enjoys what they see at the YSPB concert and wants to perform on stage too, they can audition to join the choir! Auditions will be available in early January 2025 for children in grades 2 through 12. Singers learn proper vocal techniques, self-discipline and leadership, work as part of a team, build self-esteem, and make new friends who also share a love of music and singing. Plus, singing in a choir has been shown to improve reading and comprehension skills, and serves as a great stress reliever. Visit the Young Singers’ website at www.yspb.org/audition for requirements and registration.
