I recently had the pleasure of enjoying four days at the fabulous all-inclusive Wyndham Alltra Cancun, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! With its wonderful Mexican hospitality, great location, excellent food options, myriad of amenities, extensive pools, water park, and kids and teen clubs, it is the perfect resort for a fun-filled getaway!

First and foremost, the location of the Wyndham Alltra Cancun is simply outstanding. Situated on the beautiful Cancun coastline, we had breathtaking views of the crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sandy beaches. The beach, with its soft sand and clear waters, was equally inviting, and the resort provided beach towels and umbrellas to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect beach day. For a touch of extra comfort, a rented cabana on the beach for a day is the way to go. It was a beautiful oasis with personalized service, and we spent hours napping, reading, lounging, and eating tacos in the shade of the cabana. It was the ultimate way to enjoy quality time in such a gorgeous setting.
Although I was there with a group of girlfriends, I would be remiss if I didn't point out that the Wyndham Alltra Cancun is incredibly family-friendly. The extensive Kids' Club was clearly a big hit with the little ones, providing them with various fun activities and games while parents enjoyed some much-needed relaxation time (bring on the spa menu!).
For teens, #Hashtag offers a super cool hangout area with TVs, game tables, and thousands of video games. And, the family pool area and water park are exceptional and certain to entertain children of all ages for hours and hours at a time. It's clear that the resort takes family needs seriously, and I will be back with the kids for sure.
The pools would undoubtedly be the highlight of any family's stay. The resort has a variety of pools to choose from, including an exhilarating water park for the kids, complete with water slides, splash pads, and a pirate ship to explore. We spent hours splashing around, and the abundance of sun loungers made it easy to relax by the main pool - grab a poolside lounger in the water; I highly recommend it!
The all-inclusive experience at the Wyndham Alltra Cancun truly enhanced our stay. Knowing that virtually everything was included in our package, from dining at excellent restaurants to enjoying a wide selection of beverages, made our vacation worry-free. We savored (and savored) delectable meals, sipped on tropical cocktails, and indulged in snacks without constantly thinking about the cost. The convenience of not having to carry a wallet or worry about extra expenses allowed us to focus on enjoying our time at the resort. It was a true value for the quality of service and amenities provided, and it added a sense of luxury to our vacation that made it even more special. 
One thing that truly impressed us was the variety and quality of food options. The resort has multiple restaurants offering diverse cuisines to cater to every palate. From fresh seafood to authentic Mexican dishes and international cuisine, there was something for everyone.
The buffet was a big hit with families, where kids could choose their favorite dishes. Hands down, my favorite was the taco stand on the beach - did someone say street tacos, beachside? I tried each and every one of the seven taco options. YUM!
While there is plenty to do at the Wyndham Alltra Cancun, there are many local activities perfect for experiencing what Cancun has to offer. Located right next to the pool, the excursion desk at the resort was incredibly convenient and helpful. We wanted to experience a bit of local culture and see the beautiful surroundings outside of the resort but had limited time. The staff at the desk knew just what to do and helped us arrange the perfect excursion; it made planning our off-site adventures hassle-free. They arranged for us to watch a live Mayan show, tour the mangroves in a speed boat, snorkel over a beautiful reef, and taste some exquisite local cuisine all in one afternoon -- and we had a blast.
The Wyndham Alltra Cancun truly exceeded our expectations. It's a family-friendly paradise in a breathtaking location with fantastic food options, a helpful excursion desk, rejuvenating spa offerings, and a wide range of entertainment. The pools and beach, along with the option of cabanas, provided us with the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. I can't wait to return with the kids for another unforgettable vacation!
