By Press Release October 13, 2022

Families are invited for a FREE day of adventure at The Palm Beach Zoo during a new community-wide Jewish educational program called, Sundays Together, hosted by Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County's Friedman Commission for Jewish Education (CJE).

The lively event will be held on two dates: October 30, 2022, for residents of Northern and Central Palm Beach County communities, and November 6, 2022, for residents of Western and South Palm Beach County communities. The event is from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on both dates. While each date is targeted to a specific geographic area, families interested in attending can do so on either date.

During this "wild" Jewish adventure, guests will have the opportunity to meet jaguars, tigers, koalas, otters, and more, enjoy children's art and music activities, plus experience an exploration session around the zoo with Josh Lake, founder of Oregon-based Outdoor Jewish Adventures.

Several synagogue schools in the Palm Beaches are also moving their regular classes on location for this innovative Sunday school experience. All guests will have the opportunity to learn more about many area synagogues.

"We have been hearing how families want to experience Jewish education and connect with other Jewish families in new ways, so we are excited to partner with area synagogues to bring an innovative, fun educational program to the community," shared Michael Hoffman, president and CEO, Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. "This will be the first in a series of Sundays Together programs designed in various spots throughout the Palm Beaches.
