Science and Tech Camps are in session at the South Florida Science Center this fall and winter! Safety Guidelines and cleanliness procedures are in place.
South Florida Science Center Science Camps:
Upcoming One-Day School Break Camps:
November 3rd, 2020: Fantastic Flight School! (ages 7-12) - Learn all about the latest drone tech as we delve into what makes a drone fly. Campers will learn to soar by training with a virtual drone simulator, a flight simulator, and then fly real drones through an obstacle course. $60/non-member and $55/member.
January 18th, 2021: Arctic Adventures (ages 7-12) - A cool front has blown across South Florida, providing us with the perfect opportunity for science! Come chill with our team of winter scientists as we conduct some of the “coolest” science experiments on the planet. $50/non-member and $45/member.
February 1st, 2021: Robot Races (ages 7-12) - The robots are coming, the robots are coming! Take back control of these programmable machines by learning the basics of circuits and robotics and restore peace at the Science Center. $60/non-member and $55/member.
Thanksgiving Mini Camp:
November 23rd - 25th, 2020: The Feast Before Time (ages 7-12) - Take a look at the distant cousins of our modern birds as we learn about Earth during the Mesozoic Era and look closer at how these giant reptiles walked and ate. $155/non-member and $140/member.
Winter Mini Camps:
December 21st - 24th, 2020: Going for the Gold (ages 7-12) - It’s the science of Olympic proportions! Take a closer look at the winter games and learn some of the science behind select Olympic events. $205/non-member and $185/member.
December 28th - 31st, 2020: Ice Crystal Countdown (ages 7-12) - Crystallize your imagination as we learn how cold things can get. From liquid nitrogen to absolute zero, this week is sure to make you shiver. $205/non-member and $185/member.

Camp runs from 9:00am-4:00pm, with drop off from 8:30am-9:00am and pick up from 4:00pm-4:30pm. Before/Aftercare is 7:30am-9am and 4pm-5:30pm for an additional $10 per day.
Age groups for camps: 7-9 and 10-12.
Late fee policy: The latest pick-up for camp is 4:30 p.m. The grace period is 10 minutes. After the grace period, an instant flat fee of $5.00 will be charged. In addition to the flat fee, $3.00 will be charged per minute.

For more information on what to bring to camp, click HERE. All food, including drinks and snacks, must be provided by campers. We are a nut-free facility. Any food, snacks, or drinks containing these allergens are not permitted.
